RoleAs a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of the IT infrastructure of EURid, consisting of network, security, server and storage hardware as well as business critical in house developed software solutions. EURid designs and builds its own registration system software, which is open for business on the Internet 24 hours a day running on in-house maintained infrastructure hosted in different datacenters across Europe and servers around the world.As a member of the Management Team, you manage projects with team leaders, plan, follow-up and report to the Management Team and the General Manager.
ResponsibilitiesYou manage and motivate operations, support and developer IT staff. You supervise employee knowledge, expertise and capacity. You enable and guide professional growth and optimise contribution to the company.You report status and progress on strategic and budgeted targets.You lead short and long term evolutions of IT infrastructure, engage with potential partners and vendors and solicit offers.You take ownership and you propose IT infrastructure evolution changes to the Management Team.You coordinate the use of internal personnel and external vendor support and third party consultants to optimise maintenance and support.
