Hotbath BV was established in 2007 and is one of the leading tapware brands in Dutch retail. All Hotbath products are exclusively available through kitchen & bathroom fittings specialists in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The producers that make up the Hotbath network include the best, most highly recommended and long-established manufacturers in fine metals processing, chrome-plating, thermostat technology, assembly, testing and development of shower systems.
Due to the reputation of these producers, all products come with a five-year guarantee.
The company was acquired in 2019 by FM Mattsson Group, which has been producing taps for 150 years. The Group designs, manufactures and sells water taps and accessories under the strong established brands of FM Mattsson, Mora Armatur, Damixa, Hotbath, Aqualla and Adamsez.
FM Mattsson Group is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. In 2022 the business generated sales of more than               1,9 billion SEK (200 million €, 550 FTE’s) from its companies in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Benelux, UK, Germany, and Italy.
The Group’s vision is to be the customer’s first choice in the bathroom, kitchen and beyond.
Hotbath BV employs 55+ FTE’s who realized 36 million € turnover in 2022, of which 85% sales in the Netherlands (with growing business in Belgium and the UK).

Since March 2023 Hotbath BV moved to Alblasserdam (outside Rotterdam/Dordrecht), a brand-new site to enable further growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a CEO you are end responsible for profit and loss management.
  • You motivate and lead your management team and inspire all employees to ensure an effective and efficient organisation, carried by the entire team.
  • Together with your team, you initiate and implement key initiatives needed to confirm Hotbath as a preferred tap supplier and first choice in the bathroom, kitchen and in the contracting market.
  • Your ambition is to grow the business outside the Netherlands, mainly in Belgium and the UK.
  • You build a strong team with a professional attitude and behaviour focusing on customer satisfaction, as well as a safe, motivating and inspiring workplace for all employees.
  • You maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • You are responsible for developing and executing business strategies to achieve revenue targets and marketshare growth.
  • You are responsible for managing budgets and resources.
  • You proactively identify risks and develop strategies to manage and minimize them to ensure continuity of business operations.
  • You work closely together with other Group entities to identify and execute synergies in sourcing, digitalization, sustainability and maybe other areas for the future.
  • You play a role in attracting, developing and retaining talent within your teams and ensure professional growth and development of employees.
  • You report to the Swedish Group CEO who is the Chairman of Hotbath.
  • Profile

  • You have a master’s degree in commercial or business engineering.
  • You have at least 15 years of proven work experience as a General Manager and/or as a Commercial Director with consumer durables, and in managing customer-centric organizations. If you are familiar with the kitchen and bath water taps business, the distribution channels in which our client operates and/or the contracting market, you will undoubtedly have an edge.
  • You held senior leadership roles with P/L accountability, ideally within an international structure.
  • You are a successful change manager with a result focused track record.
  • You work together with all stakeholders in a structured way, without losing sight of strategic planning.
  • Your enthusiasm radiates throughout the organization, and you are an excellent motivator, communicator and people manager.
  • You apply an agile and entrepreneurial management style, able to monitor margins continuously.
  • You are a strategic and innovative thinker who understands complexity, but can develop practical, implementable solutions.
  • You have a strong personality with an accessible and empathetic leadership style.
  • You are an excellent networker and very experienced in stakeholder management.
  • You are perfect bilingual Dutch / English.
