For a client in North Brabant (the Netherlands), we are looking for a Managing Director / CEO who will initially be recruited @ interim, but with a clear long-term commitment.

Profile

• MD/CEO background with an international exposure
• Solid sparring partner of Group CEO and own management team
• A real trader's mentality with an excellent knowledge of buying and selling, a strong familiarity with distribution channels and at ease in SME environments
• Having a background in retail and / or fresh consumer products (fish, flowers, fruits, dairy...)
• Agile management style, able to monitor margins continuously
• Strong inter-personal, influencing, management, human relations and communication skills
• Strong understanding of the business environment and customer needs
• Effective Change Manager with a results focused track record
• Excellent analytical capability
• Strategic and innovative thinker, understands complexity, but can develop practical, implementable solutions
• Proven ability to successfully manage groups in a high growth and fast changing organization
• Adaptable with sense of humor
• Ability to work within a multicultural environment
• Excellent communicator in Dutch and English
